Get Started with Wish Lists by Kaboodle (www.kaboodle.com)
With Kaboodle, you can collect information from anywhere on the web, put it into a Kaboodle list that you
can share with others, and discover other interesting lists from like-minded Kaboodlers. You can also invite
your friends to Kaboodle, where you can help one another with research, planning, or decisions on what to
buy.
We hope you will like Kaboodle as much as we do. The steps below will help you get started and make the
most of your Kaboodle experience. Happy Kaboodling!
The "Add to Kaboodle" button (found by clicking on individual item pictures) allows you to add things to
your Kaboodle lists and the "My Kaboodle" button takes you to your personalized Kaboodle homepage
where you can view all of your lists and friends in one place.
You can also download the Kaboodle button at www.kaboodle.com which will allow you to add any item
from anywhere on the web to your my Kaboodle page.
When you find something you would like to add to your list, click the "Add to Kaboodle" button on your
browser. Kaboodle will automatically choose relevant summary information from the page like a picture,
description and price. If you want to add customized information, simply click on the "Fix Details" link to
change what information gets added to Kaboodle.
You can easily share a Kaboodle lists and items with your friends and family. If you wish, you can choose
to allow others to add items and comments to your list (great for shared research!).
Each person you invite will receive an invitation via email to view the list. Share your experience and
expertise by leaving comments on other Kaboodlers’ lists.
You can also search other Kaboodlers’ lists via the search box in the upper-right hand corner of every list,
or browse via the Explore tab. If you find a list you want to reference in the future, click "Add to Favorites"
and a link to that list will be added to your lists. If you find a list or items that you would like to copy, click
"Copy" to add them to one of your own Kaboodle lists.
